Our commitment

This site is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how the site is built, from the first wireframe, not a fix applied after launch.

Conformance status

We believe this site meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The known limitations below are the exceptions we’re aware of, and we’d rather list them than pretend they don’t exist.

What we’ve done

• Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks
• Text alternatives for meaningful images
• Full keyboard support with a visible focus indicator
• Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios
• Layouts that reflow at 320 pixels wide and at 400% zoom
• Respect for your device’s reduced-motion setting, plus a pause control for background motion
• Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages

Accessibility toolbar

This site also offers the UserWay accessibility widget, a toolbar that lets you adjust things like text size, contrast, spacing and cursor size to suit you. It’s there as an extra convenience on top of an accessible build, not a replacement for one: everything on the site works without it.

How we test

Pages are checked with automated tools and by hand: keyboard-only navigation, NVDA with Firefox, VoiceOver on iPhone, browser zoom and reduced-motion settings.

Known limitations

Some screenshots of client websites in case studies contain small text that is part of the image. Each one has a text description, and the important details are written out on the page.
